Overnight flight. | | Day 2 | Amsterdam | Arrive at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. Meet your tour manager and transfer to your hotel in Lelystad followed by a 'Welcome Dinner'. (Dinner) | | Day 3 | Amsterdam | Day of leisure to explore Holland. The 'Grand Holland' optional excursion begins with a drive through Holland's countryside and a stop at a picturesque Dutch village. Continue to Amsterdam for free time and a boat ride through the canals. Dine at your hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 4 | Heerlen | Visit historic Antwerp and an American WWII Cemetery. Overnight in Heerlen, near the Belgian/Dutch/German border. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 5 | Mannheim | Cross the border into Germany's North Rhine area. At Boppard, begin your cruise of the castle-lined Rhine River. Then tour the old town and castle of Heidelberg. Overnight in Mannheim, Germany. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 6 | Augsburg | Sleepy little villages, majestic fortresses and timeless castles enhance the scenery before and after the morning stop. Then it's on to Rothenburg, Europe's best-preserved medieval city. After lunch and an afternoon stop, travel to Augsburg, Germany. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 7 | Neustift | Morning sightseeing in the Bavarian capital of Munich. Afternoon in Austria's Imperial City of Innsbruck. Overnight in the Alpine resort village of Neustift. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 8 | Neustift | A free day to explore Innsbruck and the scenic surroundings. On the 'Bavarian Castle' optional excursion, you will walk through the Linderhof Castle in Bavaria and visit the Passion Play town of Oberammergau. Also make a photo stop with a picture-perfect view of the famous Neuschwanstein Castle before heading back to your cozy Alpine hotel in Neustift. Optional 'Tyrolean Dinner'. (Breakfast) | | Day 9 | Bussolengo | Continue across the spectacular Brenner Pass and through the Alps. Stop in the Dolomite Mountains and along Lake Garda before reaching Bussolengo, Italy. (Breakfast, Dinner) | | Day 10 | Bussolengo | Spend the day in Bussolengo, Verona, or the Lake Garda Region. On the 'Verona & Venice' optional excursion, visit legendary Verona with a lunch stop on the way to the romantic city of Venice, and return to Bussolengo in the evening. (Breakfast) | | Day 11 | Lake Lucerne | Cross the border into Switzerland. Leisurely break in Lugano, 'Rio of the Old Continent'. (Breakfast) | | Day 13 | Auxerre | Cross the border and continue into the southern Alsace region of France, followed by a lunch stop. Afternoon sightseeing at Beaune in the Burgundy wine region.
